Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. Rene Marie Russo, born in the United States, is an actress, filmmaker and former supermodel. She is known for her elegant beauty. The longevity of her career in an extremely competitive field shows her skills and talent in the field of performance. She began her career as a model in the 70s, and quickly became one of the top models. After completing her acting studies Russo started her modeling career working in Los Angeles. Russo debuted on screen on ABCs Sable drama in 1987. She portrayed Eden Kendell. In her first film Major League two years after she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. Her consistency earned her the respect of those who were skeptical about her abilities as an actress. They were most impressed with her in the film Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak where she held her ground in the face of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She has admitted that she's not a fan of acting. She decided in 2005 to go on a lengthy, self-imposed hiatus. Then, she made her return with Thor. Also, she was in her husbands Oscar Award-winning movie Nightcrawler. Rose Namajunas has been one among the most prominent UFC female athletes. She started her career as an amateur fighter, taking part in numerous regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships and later signing up with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). When she joined in the UFC in 2011, she became known as a household name thanks to the popularity she enjoyed both inside and outside of an octagon. Namajunas is born June 29th 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrants family. Rose participated in basketball as well as kickboxing when she was growing into a young woman. At 18 years old she had her first professional fight at Invicta Fighting Championships in which she won two fights through submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, aged 22, she signed for a fight as a strawweight with UFC. Rose has experienced highs as well as she's also had lows in her professional career, but she always came to the the top. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15 of 2015 to win the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose beat Esparza with a technical knockout within less than three minutes of round One. Rose not only won the championship but was awarded Fighter Of The Night. Rose has also created MMA history by winning this fight since she was the first female to fight in a title fight at an organization that is a major one. Namajunas was able to win several fights after this win, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. It earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night accolades from UFC.
