Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is an actress from Canada and the United Kingdom. best known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she earned five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She reprised the role in the film Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010). In the 80s her role was one of the leading in Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin in addition to Porky's. The beginning of her acting career came with her becoming a fashion designer at Skane. In the end, she won the Miss Sweden Contest. Then she moved to America and started playing in many films. She had her first role as a character in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars as a Venusian. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category after being featured in the movie Blood Alley.
